Is the KitaHQ AI video interview a live interview?
No. You complete the interview online by responding to a set of structured questions. A recruiter does not need to join the interview live.
Do I need to schedule the interview?
Usually, no. You can complete it at a suitable time before the deadline stated in your invitation.
Do I need to install an application?
Usually, no. The interview can generally be opened through a supported web browser. Follow the specific instructions included in your invitation.
Can I complete the interview on my phone?
A compatible phone with a working camera, microphone and stable internet connection can generally be used. Check the technical instructions in your invitation before starting.
How long will the interview take?
The interview length depends on the number of questions and the time allowed for each response. The employer or the interview instructions may provide an estimated completion time.
Can I pause the interview?
This depends on how the employer has configured the interview. Do not assume that you can pause after beginning a timed question. Set aside enough uninterrupted time before starting.
Can I record an answer again?
This depends on the interview settings selected by the employer. The instructions shown before or during the interview will indicate whether another attempt is available.
What happens if my internet disconnects?
Reopen the interview through the original invitation link and follow the instructions shown. If you cannot continue, contact the employer or KitaHQ support and explain what happened.
Who reviews my responses?
Authorised members of the hiring company’s recruitment team or hiring team can review your interview information.
Does AI decide whether I get the job?
No. KitaHQ supports the employer’s interview and assessment process, but the employer’s recruiters and hiring managers decide who moves forward and who is hired.
Will I receive the interview report?
Interview reports are created to support the employer’s recruitment process. Whether candidates receive any interview feedback or report information depends on the employer.
How will I know whether I passed the interview?
The employer will contact you directly if it wishes to move you to the next stage. KitaHQ does not determine the employer’s recruitment timeline or application outcome.
